Oatmeal Cookies

1/2 c. margarine                           3 c. oats
1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce              2/3 c. wheat flour
1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar                1/2 t. baking soda
1 egg                                      1/2 t. cinnamon
1/3 c. 1% milk                             1/4 t. nutmeg
1 1/2 t. vanilla                           1 c. raisins (or 
                                                other dried fruit)
1/4 c. protein powder                      1 c. walnuts
1/3 c. wheat germ

Mix all ingredients. Drop on greased cookie sheet with D-30 (bowl size 1 7/8")
ice cream scoop). Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes, 
remove from tray. Makes 35. Nutritional Analysis for 1 cookie: 158 calories, 
6 (32%) fat, 23 carbs, 5 protein.

                             No Bake Cookies

Part A:                                    Part B:

2 c. sugar                                 3 c. quick cooking oats
3 T unsweetened cocoa                      1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. margarine                           1 t. vanilla extract
1/2 c. 1% milk

Bring Part A to a rapid boil - boil for 1 minute. Add pre-measured Part B. 
Mix together. Drop with a D-30 (bowl size 1 7/8") ice cream scoop onto 
waxed paper. Cool. Makes 26. Nutritional Analysis per cookie: 159 calories,
 6.6 (36.6%) fat, 23 carbs, 3 protein.

                            Snickerdoodles

1/2 c. butter/margarine                  3 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening                        2 t. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. sugar                           1 t. baking soda
2 eggs                                   4 T. sugar
                                         4 t. cinnamon

Mix shortening, eggs, and sugar. Blend all dry ingredients and stir in 
(do not include the 4 T. sugar and 4 t. cinnamon). Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Scoop dough into a size D-30 (bowl size 1 7/8") ice cream scoop. Roll in the
cinnamon mixture. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees
for 11-12 minutes. Makes 31. Nutritional Analysis for 1 cookie: 149 calories
7 (40%) fat, 21 carbs, 2 protein.
