Riley was a farmer and Methodist preacher in Sevier County. He lived in the old home place of his father's. Riley and Eliza's children were:
4.1 Emma Jane Fox, born 10 Oct 1892. She married Luther A. Headrick (7 Aug 1894) and lived in Wear's Valley. She is buried in Mattox Cemetery.
4.2. Mary C. Fox, born 6 Jan 1894. She married Frank M. Clabo (9 Dec 1895-12 Nov 1971 Mattox Cem.) on 20 Sep 1919 and lived in Wear's Valley.
4.3. Dora Fox, born 20 May 1895 and died 17 Apr 1891. She married James Lawson Butler (8 Oct 1892-28 Apr 1980) on 28 Jul 1914 and lived in Sevierville. Buried Middle Creek Cemetery.
+4.4. Seaton Fox, born 27 Sep 1896. He married Ethel Elizabeth Webb and lived on Walden's Creek. He died 27 Sep 1968.
4.5. Martha Fox, born 9 Jul 1899. She married Carl Clark on 20 Aug 1919.
4.6. Josie Fox born 14 May 1901 and died 29 Oct 1921.
4.7. Vertie Fox, born 9 Oct 1903. She married Daniel Frank Headrick (9 Oct 1900) on 27 Aug 1923 and lived on Walden's Creek.
4.8. Amos Fox, born 24 Sep 1905. He married Myrl Reagan on 3 July 1936.
4.9. Alma Fox, born 3 Apr 1907. She married Audley Whaley on 22 Dec 1931.
4.10. Eleanor (Nancy ?) Fox, born 12 May 1909. She married Lee Ownby on 16 Aug 1931. Eleanor died 19 Feb 1947.
4.11. Wilford Fox, born 21 Mar 1911. He married Esta Haworth on 25 0ct 1948 and did not have children. Wilford died 4 Aug 1964.
+4.12. Marshall Fox, born 21 Jan 1913. He married Geneva Perryman on 3 Jul 1935.
