John was the second son of Branson Fox and Nancy Walker. 
He moved to Texas and Oklahoma.  His children were:

+ 1.  Buelah Myrtle Fox, born 21 Dec 1883 in Burnet, Texas.

  2.  Maude Muriel Fox, born ca 1897 Bradley, Oklahoma.

  3.  Andrew Jackson Marshall, born 18 Aug 1898 in Chickasha,
Oklahoma.  John and Laura adopted Jack Marshall at the age of
6 months when his mother, Mattie Marshall, died.  His biological
father was Marcus John marshall.  Jack went by the Fox name
until he was 20 and his father demanded that he take the
Marshall name.  Jack Married 1. Winnie Burchfield and 2. Daisy
Gilbert.

+ 4. Cora Elizabeth Fox, born 24 Mar 1902 in Chicasha,
Oklahoma.
