Polly Ann Allen was the second daughter of Elizabeth Fox and Alfred Allen. Polly Ann’s children were:

a. David (Dave) Allen bc 1857. Dave may not have married. He probably died before 1910 and is buried in Allen cemetery in Cocke County in an unmarked grave.

b. Asa Allen bc 1863. Asa married Amanda Samples and they may also be buried in the Allen cemetery. Children of Asa and Amanda Allen:

b.1. Randolph Allen was born 27 May 1890 in Jefferson County and died 3 Mar 1972 in Newport, Cocke County, Tennessee. He is buried in Union Cemetery. Randolph married Gracie Belle Bailey, born 1 Sep 1894 in Midway, Greene County, Tennessee and died 7 Mar 1965 in Newport and is buried with Randolph. Randolph remarried after Gracie’s death. Randolph and Gracie had 11 children. The oldest, Creed Estes Allen celebrated his 93rd birthday in 2004.
