Andrew Jackson Allen was the second son of Elizabeth Fox and Alfred Allen. He married Loueza Harriett Sims, daughter of William K. Sims and later moved to the vicinity of Concord, Knox County, Tennessee.

Andrew’s children, based on the 1870 Jefferson County census were:

a. Margaret E. Allen bc 1863.

b. John H. Allen bc 1865. Married Arlena Scarbrough in Anderson Co., Tennessee.

b.1. Charles McKinley Allen was their son. He married Ida Melton in Anderson County.

b.1.1. Junior R. Allen was their son. In 1985, he was residing in Abingdon, Virginia.

c. Nancy E. Allen bc 1867.

There were probably other, younger children.
