Welcome to LONGACRE BEADS, ARTS & CRAFTS. Our shop is located in a small town in Northern California. We are located about 100 miles North of San Francisco, right above the Napa Valley.
We are located in Glenhaven, California, right on Highway 20, where we have a wonderful view of Clear Lake. Highway 20 is a 2-lane highway, connecting Interstate 5 at Williams, CA with Highway 101 just above Ukiah, and cuts right through Lake County. The road follows the lake contours, winding through the small resort towns of Clearlake Oaks, Glenhaven, Lucerne, Nice and Upper Lake, and was recently designated a scenic highway.
Our county is beautiful and we boast the cleanest air in California for 10 straight years. Glenhaven is a small community of 350 people, but we have our own postoffice, and some beautiful resort sites right on Clear Lake.
THE SHOP
The shop features Diana's jewelry, and hand-acid-etched glassware made by my partner, Emmetta Hitchcock, who also takes special orders for weddings, anniversaries or any other occasion. We also have other gift items, including gel candles, hand-carved onyx animals such as scottie dogs and dolphins.
As we refine our displays, we'll be adding other gift items, such as original artwork by artist Shana Sundstrom, (Diana's daughter), amethyst, citrine and quartz crystals and other beautiful items. We also feature gift baskets for showers, birthdays and other special occasions. We are truly excited about our shop, and we can ship items anywhere in the world.

LOCAL SHOWS & FAIRS
We also attend local craft shows, where we display and sell orchids and crafts. At present, Diana is specializing in beaded jewelry, necklaces and earrings, and bracelets. She is using gemstone chips and beads, and sterling silver and 14Kt gold & gold-filled findings. Diana also sells beads and decorative items on e-bay (tm) auction. (See link below.) Diana is also the web-master of this site.
We have several Lake County shows set up for summer-time, including the Lake County Fair held over Labor Day weekend, and the Lower Lake Blackberry Festival held at Anderson Marsh in August, In late September we take the orchids to the Kelseyville Pear Festival, held to celebrate the end of the pear harvest. Thousands of people attend this show.
We also show at the Colusa Christmas craft fair, which is visited by people from all over Northern California.
OUR WORK
We want to show you some of our work. Below are several pictures by San Francisco Bay artist, Shana Sundstrom. Down on the left is a pair of Diana's handcrafted bead jewelry, featuring gold filled earring hooks, celtic knot beads, and polished amber.
Above left is a blue glass seed bead necklace, with ceramic flower face beads. It has a gold clasp and red accent beads. It is about 34 inches in length. Cost: $14.00.
On the right is a black onyx necklace & earrings set, which has been sold. However, we can make gemstone necklaces to your specifications as gifts, or for your own special wear.
Here are some more of our shop items. Please contact us for further information regarding an item or shipping costs. Most jewelry items ship for about $1.50 1st class, or $4.50 Priority Mail. We can also make a piece of jewelry to your specifications, using various gemstones and sterling silver or gold-filled findings.
This item is too cute. It is a plaque for any room, depicting Noah's Ark. It is three dimensional and measures about 9 X 7 inches. It is hand-painted, and has an attached wire for hanging. Cost: $12.50.
This set is made of mini-lapis chips and freshwater pearls. It is 28 inches in an endless loop, with no clasp. It is accented with 14Kt gold beads, and the earrings are hung from gold-filled hooks. Cost: $30.00.
This is a set of four 24% lead crystal glasses. They are hand painted with a grape and leaf motif. They are simply elegant! Cost: $55.00. (We offer many hand acid-eteched items including beautiful glassware which can be etched to your specifications. Please inquire.
This one is gorgeous! It is made of freshwater pearls, and glass amethyst leaf beads. It is about 22 inches in length. The leaves are accented with sterling silver beads and between the leaf pairs are amethyst Swarovski 4mm crystal. The clasp is sterling silver. Cost: $25.00.

h. Gorgeous malachite cabuchon, size 30 X 22mm, set in a sterling silver frame. Cost:$18.00.
For the man in your life, we have a gold and a silver metal money clip in the shape of $ dollar signs. On the left (A)is the silver clip, set with a genuine Paua Shell. Cost: $14.00. On the right is the gold clip, set with a genuine Malachite cabuchon. Cost: $16.00
Also for that wonderful man, this is a duck carved from a gemstone, and fastened to a crystal quartz. A beautiful display object, and would make a nice paper-weight. Cost: $25.00.
These are two crosses, in silver and gold metal. Both are set with polished pink shell cabuchons. Very delicate and lovely. Cost: $10.00 each.
I found some gorgeous glass butterfly beads, and made up the earrings above. Shown are Aqua Butterfly earrings on sterling silver; and Amethyst Butterfly earrings done in gold. Below the earrings are the other colors available in these beautiful beads. We can make a custom pair for you in either gold or silver, and in any of the colors show. Cost: $12.00.
This is a lovely group of amber-gold color items. The bracelet on bottom left is done in gold, with amber glass leaf beads alternating with Czech fire-polish amber beads with an AB finish. Cost: $17.00. Directly above the bracelet is a beautiful tangerine color calcite crystal point. It is about three inches high with a 2-inch base in a pentagon shape. Cost: $20.00. Top right is a memory-wire bracelet, which wraps around your wrist. It is made of highly polished carnelian chips, freshwater pearls, and accented with matte clear glass washers and sterling silver beads, with a clear crystal heart in the middle. . It is a beauty! Cost: $18.00. Just below it is a Paua Shell Pendant in gleaming brown and amber tones, set in a gold-plated oval with gold chain. Cost: $15.00. The picture below is a composite close-up of the jewelry items.
These next two items are really gorgeous and were fun to make. The necklace features pale blue glass leaves accented with deep blue glass pearls. Each leaf set is divide by a silver-plate liquid silver twist, and 2mm sterling silver beads. The top of the necklace is done all in the silver-plate liquid silver twist, and the clasp is sterling silver. The matching earrings feature sterling silver earhooks. This is a beauty! The set has a matching bracelet, featuring silver plate links and glass leaves and pearls hung as charms from the links. The bracelet features a silver-plate bar & ring clasp. Two glass pearls and a glass leaf are hung from the clasp.

This is a pair of gold-plated earrings, in the shape of elegant and poised sitting cats. The earrings are accented with translucent 4mm bicone Swarovski crystals in the fabulous new Montana blue color.
The earrings are hung from gold-fill earhooks. The crystals & cats measure about 3/4ths of an inch, and the drop measured from the top of the hook is about one and 1/2 inches. These earrings can be made to order using any color of crystal desired, and a matching pendant can also be created.

Finally, for your porch or sunroom, this is a darling birdhouse, fancied up with bows, peach roses and ribbons. Aluminum chimes are fastened to the bottom of the house, which will sooth your soul with tinkling music. Featured is a bright-red cardinal, perched and ready to make his nest. Cost:$12.00
