Title: The Dream Team in Oilers Garb
Artist: Tiny Q Year: Apr 2003 Media: Ink and Pencil Crayons Comments: Well here is my piece of art dedicated to my city: Edmonton. The Trio are dressed in the jerseys of our hockey team the Edmonton Oilers. The one Harry is wearing was designed by Todd McFarlane (Creator of Spawn) who is such a wicked comic book artist. He's from Calgary (who's hockey team is our city's bitter rival) but is a co owner of our team. The Trio are also doing the hand symbols for West Edmonton Mall which my friends made up. West Ed's the largest mall in the world. Cool eh? But anyhoo, Ron's making a 'W' and Herm an 'E' and Harry an 'M'. And I know Ron's head is a touch too big, but I really like his expression. Now that you have received a bit of fact about our city and it's hockey team, smile and nod and go look at some more art! ~grin~ |
