Lars Larsen Lillestrand Family

The Lars Larsen Lillestrand Family took root in Norway, in the area to the north of Oslo and south of Lake Maridale. The family lived near and the heads of the family worked in the Brekke Sawmill on the Aker River. The area where the family lived (and where the family name(s) derived) has been variously called Brekke, Stranden and Lillestrand. Lillestrand was the name of the site at the time of Lars Larsen Lillestrand's immigration to the USA.
