The title of this dance literally means song or tune of adolescent youth. True to its name, the dance reflects the dream of every adolescent girl to find a suitable mate on whom she can shower her love and care. Traditional social norms (in the past), however, tend to confine the fairer sex to themselves with the young men, aspiring to find life partner, always keeping a respective distance closeby. The fast tempo and liveliness of this dance are expressions of exuberance, happiness and joy; and hopes and aspirations for a bright future.
