Kelly's Heroes is a ska band from New Orleans, Louisiana. 
The band has been together for four and a half years, and it's current
line-up was completed in October 1996 with the addition of Pete Holland
on bass.Pete was recruited from Texas by fellow Texas native Matt Brown
on drums, who joined the group in November 1995. Lance Burnet from St.Louis
founded the group while attending Tulane and Loyola Universities in New Orleans.
The only home grown New Orleans boy is Darrell Burger on trombone, who is also
a fine guitar picker in his spare time. Lead singer, Ian Hall comes to New Orleans
and Kelly's Heroes all the way from Minnesota. You betcha, he misses the winters.

In March 1997, Kelly's Heroes released it's first full-length cd,
"NOT STRONG ENOUGH", eleven mildly sloppy, but rockin' ska tunes.
The group can also be heard on ska compilations:GENERIC SKACA from Stiff Dog Records
and SKAMEGEDDON from Moon Records.

The band will bring it's punk and rock flavored ska sound to the West Coast in summer
1997.Back home and in the Gulf South, they have warmed up the likes of: LET'S GO BOWLING,
THE TOASTERS,SPRING-HEELED JACK,KING APPERATUS,SKAVOOVIE and the EPITONES,THE INDEPENDENTS,
MU330,MUSTARD PLUG,THE PIE TASTERS,CHERRY-POPPIN' DADDIES,SKANKIN' PICKLE,VOODOO GLOW SKULLS,
MEPHISKAPHELES,SCOFFLAWS,BLUE MEANIES and all the other ska bands who passed through New Orleans.
