"Mounting Cherokee"

"Mounting Cherokee" has intense action between the horse and cowboy, and a REAL WESTERN FLAIR. The artist used his own experience in mounting the family's "cowboy trained" horse, CHEROKEE, for the feeling of the horseman. The horse has much of the elegance and action of ZANE'S GOLDEN EAGLE, a Missouri Fox Trotter owned by the artist's son.
