DVD Transfer Service, Inc.

Would you like to have your favorite VHS videos transferred from VHS to DVD? Our company “DVD Transfer Service Inc.” does just that. We are now making this service available at an affordable cost. We will transfer anything from home movies to your favorite tv shows and movies. Unlike transferring from VHS to VHS (which you always lose quality), from VHS to DVD you get extraordinary image quality, in fact sometimes the quality actually looks better than the originals. There are two encoding technologies involved, Real time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) and Visibility Modulation Technology, to provide MPEG2 recording with superb picture quality. Here's how it works: Real Time VBR adjusts the bit rate according to video signal complexity, in order to optimize the compression ratio. At the same time, Visibility Modulation Technology reduces compression in other areas. This combination helps assure incredible picture quality for your recordings. If you have poor tracking in a VHS copy though, that won’t change unfortunately. Transferring a VHS tape to DVD is the best way to go. A VHS tape’s life is 15-20 years at the most. A DVD’s average lifespan is predicted to be 30-40 years, plus the quality is so much clearer, not to mention a DVD is more compact and easier to store.

This service has been very exclusive by DVD companies up to now. The few companies offering the service are charging $200-$600 just to transfer a video from VHS to DVD. We are offering this service at the very low price of only $20 (SP quality up to 2hours) for a DVD-Video disc. We also are offering recording on DVD-RAM discs (see price list). These prices include the blank DVD plus our labor costs. We also offer discounts on large orders.

We transfer VHS, SVHS, VHS-C, and 8 mm. So yes you can have your camcorder videos transferred as well.

What do you have to do to use our service? First you need to contact us via e-mail to make an appointment to have your videos transferred? We don’t just want the videos showing up on our doorstop, we want to know they are coming. We always have a waiting list, so it's best to have an appointment.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask us any questions. We can be contacted by e-mail at eldonrussell@hotmail.com or dvdtransferinc@hotmail.com.
