Happy 20th birthday Karen!

You know what I hate?

I hate people who go into labs to check their email and they act as if the email is talking to them. They smile and giggle and talk to the screen. Then they lean real far back and their chair and go "OH MY GOD!" when they read something shocking and then they kind of read the email aloud to themselves. If you haven't guessed, there's a girl like that sitting across from me and you really don't know how badly I want to smack her upside the head.

So the weekend...the weekend was insanely crazy and fun. It was probably one of the best weekends I've had in my two years down here. I took a lot of pictures and I even have them developed so this can be like kind of a story. Can you wait? :-)

Friday...last day of classes. We were exceedingly hyper at lunch. Everyone was hugging and giving high fives and whatnot. Everyone in our "lunch bunch" showed up and we dared Forbes to trip going down the stairs and dramatically make her tray go flying across the room. And she thought about it...really hard, but she didn't do it. Hehehe.

A little later Friday afternoon, Linda's mom came to pick up our couch and take it back to Toledo since we had to have our rooms back in the original order. So while Lewie and I were lugging one of the pieces of the couch outside, we heard the tornado siren go off. We didn't really think anything of it, just went back upstairs. But then the RA came over the loudspeaker and said "A tornado has been spotted 3 miles out of town. For your safety, please go into one of the inside rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor." Well, we live on the 4th floor so it wasn't like we were going anywhere, except across the hallway into the study lounge, but Linda flipped out. I've never seen her so panicked! She grabbed her mom and ran into the study lounge. I was like "Someone get a radio!" and I was just kinda walking around eating my Subway. Hehehe. A little while later, the RA came back on: "The tornado is now 2 miles out of town." Linda screamed. :-) We were just hanging around, all hyper because classes were done, so we were running around the hallway and stuff. A few minutes later we hear: "The tornado is on Poe Road" and Poe Rd. is like a second away from the dorms so at this point we're all screaming. A whole bunch of people showed up in the study lounge and we just had a big powwow. Linda was wearing her subway uniform and she goes "I don't want this to be the last outfit I wear." Hehehe. So we waited in there forever and ever but nothing happened so we finally left. It was a good scare though.

So we finished taking stuff out to Linda's mom's car and on the way back in, Linda wanted me to grab one of the carts from downstairs so we could play with it. :-) So we snuck one upstairs and...seriously, it was our entertainment for the next few hours.

There's Linda pushing Heather down the hallway on it, in her Subway uniform, laughing her ass off. Sorry the picture is a little off-center because they were flying down the hallway and I was sure I was going to get hit any second.

So after awhile, we started getting ready to go out. We started drinking at around 9pm and every picture from here on out that you see of Friday night are all drunken pictures. Just warning you :-)

Linda, Heather, Karen, Melissa and Mary. Tell me they aren't the cutest. :-)

Karen, laying upside down on Linda's bed, doing the upside down face. It took Linda and I awhile to get it, but once we did, we screamed so loud. It was spooky because she was singing along to the lyrics and it looked like her chin was the nose and...just take my word for it, okay?

So after awhile, we found Krista's guitar. And we started making up songs :-) We have a few of the songs on audiotape--they are so hysterically funny. Here was mine:

"This is the song I wrote for the man in my life...who is non-existent."
(Now imagine me playing a very low chord on the guitar and bowing my head in pain)
"Sometimes...I picture us together and I'm happy."
(Playing the guitar very fast and upbeat, grinning)
"BUT THEN REALITY CUTS ME LIKE A KNIFE!!"
(Repeat of the first chord)

So that was that. :-) I'll try to get a wav up, depending on how brave I feel. Listening to the audiotape the next day, we found that our most common lyrics were (get this): "I'm playing my gui-tar" Hehe, original, no?

Linda, Heather, Karen, Melissa, and I with our favorite toy of the night :-)

Sara and Mary before we hit the town.

Here are Linda and Karen with the "Cart O' Fun". We were celebrating Karen's birthday and we made her that nice ugly crown while we were drunk. :-)

Me and Heather out in the hallway. I love Greiger :-)

Suever, Melissa, and Mary. Awwwww :-)

Alright, so those are all the pics I took before we left. Karen, Mary, Sara, Linda, Roxy, Melissa and I all ended up going to the Field house which is this really kickass dance club in Toledo. Now remember how I got my ID cut up at that bar a few weeks ago? Well, I got into the Fieldhouse with a birth certificate. Got that, a certificate of live birth. It was too much. So we're dancing up a storm, yadda yadda. Then there are these guys who come out of nowhere and buy us all these drinks. Corona, Sex on the Beach, Firewater, it was insane. Like we weren't already trashed enough. We were dancing in this big circle and every once in awhile, someone would go in the middle of the circle and we would all scream and go "Woooo!" and whatnot and apparently, I did the Elaine. You know, the thumbs and the kicks from Seinfeld? Hehe, yeah, I did that.

Later on, our group split up and I was dancing with Lewie and we were like "Oh look there's some girls dancing up on the bar...OH MY GOD, IT'S KAREN AND MARY!" Hehe, it was so funny. They were hanging from the rafters, dancing on the bar. All these guys were whistling and shouting "Take it off baby!" Hehe. Then later, they played "Hot hot hot" and guess who started the conga line? Linda. Hehe, we were just all over the place that night. It was great. We danced from 11:30-2:30 when it closed and then started to head home.

Once we were all in the car, Linda goes "Ohhhh my head. I'm so fucked up." and Karen giggled and goes "Meeeee too." I was like "Shit, I'm glad I'm in the front seat." :-) So we're driving along and Karen and Linda put their arms around each other and pass out. :-) It was cute. Then after awhile, Linda wakes up and goes "How much longer?" and Sara goes "About 10 more minutes" and Linda goes "I think I need to throw up." Yikes. So we're on the expressway and of course, this cop pulls out of the shadows and starts following us. And we had 7 people in Sara's little car and we were all smashed off our asses except Sara. So we got off at the next exit even though we didn't know where we were and we thought the cop had gone by so we pulled over and Linda got out to do her business. I'm just sitting in the front in my own little world and then all the sudden, there's a loud knock on my window. It was Linda, ready to fall over, so I rolled down my window and she goes "Um, there's a cop" So we were like "Shit!" and I told Linda to hide behind the guard rail but she insisted on getting back in the car. Lewie goes "There's too many people back here, someone needs to duck!" Well Karen was already laying down in the backseat, all scrunched up so Linda sat on top of her. LOL. Sara convinced the guy that we were "just lost" but the catch was that we had to follow him all the way back to BG. Oy. But we did and all was well. Sara, Mary and I were going to get subs and drinks because you know, drunkenness causes hunger. And to make the rest of this long story short (too late), we ended up at this pizza place for 40 minutes because the waiters and cooks were all incompetent. By the time we got back, Linda was asleep in the hallway because she didn't have her key, and Karen was asleep sitting up in her bed. Mary and I each had to undress our respective roommates and get them into bed and that was alot of fun.

Saturday morning, I woke up to the sound of Linda laughing hysterically because the guitar was right in front of her face and everything came flooding back. We're still talking about it. What a night...

Saturday, we went shopping and I got a second skin silk whatever the hell they're called bra from Victoria's secret and I am just in love with it. I also got a navy blue t-shirt from Abercrombie with grey lettering and grey stripes on the sleeves. It was expensive, but I really like it.

If this girl doesn't stop talking to her email, I'm going to pull out my nine and bust a cap. Seriously.

So Saturday night, I was supposed to study, but we had better things to do...like, dress up:

Those are two imposters who kinda look like me and Lewie. Someone said Lewie looks like Freddy Krueger...doesn't she? Hehehe.

We got all giggly watching Saturday Night Live (the Celine Dion Show--LOL):

Starting at the top left corner, that's Karen and me and then on the bottom is Mary, Lewie, and Bacon. We were laughing so hard when Kim took this...

And here's one last picture, from last Tuesday when Mary's man from Spring Break showed up and we all randomly got drunk in the middle of the week:

Mary, Me, Linda, and Karen hanging out in 417E. Good times.

Sunday sucked, I just studied for 12 hours.

Today I've had two finals, 2 hours of sleep, and 2 more finals due tomorrow. So what am I doing writing this? I'm out...
