NEUSPEED THUNDER BUNNY

You could say that the "Thunder Bunny" as it was nicknamed, was the first "Neuspeed" car. Bill Neumann took a trip to Germany and came back with a full 16V cylinder head, which he bolted onto a bored and stroked Rabbit block. It went 0-60 in the low 7's, and did the slalom at 64.5 mph. This was better than every car out there, save for a Ferrari or two. Bill wrote a letter to VW of America begging them to release a sporty rabbit. Three years later, the VW GTI was introduced to America. We owe it all to Bill.

This is the first official Neuspeed race car, a 1995 Accord with over 300 hp. I don't know too much about it.
