John Darkhorse Designs

Welcome to John Darkhorse Designs. I design websites and build/consult/repair/upgrade computers. Advertising is a big part of having a website for business, so I create custom graphic banners. Below are some links to sites I have designed. The first site I have done is the one you are at. It is no-frills, but does showcase some of what can be done. As I've completed more sites, my knowledge has grown. I currently live in the Chesterfield County area of South Carolina, so if you would like a website, new computer, or need an upgrade to one you already have, drop me a line. BTW, I only design around the owner's content, so the content of the following sites is not my responsibility.

This is the second site I designed, to display the customer's kennels. I created this banner for advertising purposes.

On her site, I created this navigation bar and the buttons in it. (Her site has 2 different colored button sets on it)

Home Page  Internet Relay Chat page  Pecan Bay Kennels  Show Updates
Handling information  Herding Information  My son Joshua's page  Links to elsewhere
E-Mail me from here  You can send me an ICQ message from here
The above email and ICQ links go to the customer, if you are interested.

I also created the title blocks on the kennel and home page (they're images, you see).

The above is matched to her page background.

The above is a transparent gif.

Here is the second site I've had a hand in. I taught the owner of this site HTML and was more a 'consultant' than designer of this site, although I did design and create several banners for her site, as advertising.

This is the latest site I've had a hand in. I helped the owners get it up and running and they've handled it ever since. Here are some graphics I put together for it. First, the advertising banner:

...and now, an image I cobbled together for her Border Collie Ring link. The various dogs and words are linked using an image map. Go to her site and check out the working version.
