   -Abigail Allen's ancestors were passengers on the Mayflower.
   -Isreal(Sr) moved from syracuse N.Y. in the 1830's to Michigan and
     later to Rock Island, Illinois.
   -He was a blacksmith and after 3 years in Rock Island moved to Lee
     Co. where he purchased a farm and tilled the soil until retirement.
