conducts research in the areas of Multimedia, Computer Networks, Parallel
Processing, High Performance Computing, Neural Networks, and VLSI/CAD.

Electronics and Circuits (IEC)
group currently consists of 11 faculty members (see list below).
The group conducts research in all aspects of integrated electronics and
circuits. The group runs an M.Tech program in Integrated Electronics and
Circuits, and contributes to an interdisciplinary M.Tech program in VLSI
Design, Tools, and Technology (VDTT). The group has carried out a
number of sponsored research, consultancy, and manpower development
projects for outside agencies. The faculty members in the group include:
group (PAS) consists of 10 faculty members at present. The group
conducts research in all areas of electrical power systems, power electronics,
machine drives, energy conversion, and power transmission. The group runs
two M.Tech programs -- one in Power Systems and another on
Power Electronics and Machine Drives. The group has carried out sponsored
