HOW TO APPLY TO OUR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY

Full time candidates require excellent acadmic record, a valid GATE score, and a B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experinced working professionals sponsored from recognised R & D organisations, universities & industries are admitted as full-time or as part time candidates.

Full- time students are normally supported through Institute teaching/research assistantships and attractive industry sponsored fellowships. In general, on-campus accomodation is available to out-station candidates. Assistantships at UGC/CSIR levels and at enhanced levels are available.

Applications are invited in April each year.
 

MASTER OF SCIENCE BY RESEARCH / DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY

M.S. and Ph.D. progarmmes may be pursued on a full time ( Institute fellowship or sponsored by part-time basis . Candidates must have an excellent acadmic record and a B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related disipline. for some programmes, an M.Sc. or equivalent degree may be considered. B.Tech. / M.Sc. full time candidates need a valid GATE score for availing Institute fellowships. Sponsored and part-time candidates must be working professionals in recognised industries, Goverment departments, R&D organisations and engineering institute. Applications are invited in April and October every year.
