Steve's    biography

Steve was born on the 13th of December 1957 in Brooklyn, New York. While at Valley Stream Central High School, he showed a talent in wrestling and football, but soon discovered his heart lay in acting. He worked as a fireman for four years, after which he moved to Manhattan and landed his first film roles; the first major one being in Bill Sherwood's 'Parting Glances' in 1986. Since then, he has appeared in over 50 films, collaborating with directors such as Joel and Ethan Coen, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino. His first leading role was in the 1992 movie 'In The Soup' and he wrote and directed 'Trees Lounge' in 1996. Steve still lives in New York, with his wife, Jo Andres, and their son, Lucian.
