Unified Theory Page Up-Dates

12/07/01-- Well, it's as sad as it is true. Unified Theory have broken up!!! Here's the word from Brad:

December 7th, 2001 - Official Release

This letter is being written to clear up some confusion about Unified Theory
and to also clarify some of my own thoughts about music and I dare say art.
But first I would like to thank all of the people out there who tracked down
our band and stuck by us through thick and thin especially people like
Tamara, Nikki, Yves, Whitney, Jeremy, Lisa Marie, Cher , Bill Fulks, Eric
and Keith. Those people really help Unified Theory in spirit and notoriety.
For that I am very grateful. You guys rock.

Unified Theory at its conception about 3 years ago seemed to be the
answer for all members. It had a singer, bass player, guitar players,
drummer and direction. We made a great first record and had some really good
times on the road , truly some of the best times i have ever had. Laughed my
ass off too. It was great journey and we leaned of each other through our
horrible business decisions and frustrations with the whole music industry.
"All things must pass" has been on my mind lately for obvious reasons.
And our band was not immune to that fate. Sure it is sad, but the future
looks bright and new paths will be taken.

Somehow in the past 8 months the bands focus became hazy at best. I
personally was frustrated during the attempt of writing the second UT
record. It seemed that songs that were written were not getting recorded.
It seemed that songs that did get recorded lacked the chemistry of a band
that is focused and on the same page. It was a frustrating time , I felt
like i was cheating myself and banging my head up against the wall. Summit
meetings were called, supreme courts were notified, beers were consumed,
cigs were smoked but the ship would not stay afloat. We were taking on
water, the crew grew weary of bailing and we sunk. It was time to move on
The decision to spit was made about 2 weeks ago although looking back I
think that minds were elsewhere way before that.

The demise of Unified Theory has been the answer to all of my
frustrations. I hate to say that but it is true. The Jalopy has just been
sitting in my driveway since Unified Theory. Sure I went out there a few
times and started the engine just to keep a charge on the battery but I have
never really got to drive it around and show it to all my friends. But now
is the time. Time to give it the paint job, get some bad ass mags on the
back axle and let it rip.

I have got the green light and the balls.

In the past two weeks i have rekindled my relationship with my microphone,
the vision of my hazy path has clarified and the anticipation of recording
the second AJ record has reached its limit. Now is the time execute.

Christopher has always been an ally in helping me defeat bad lyrics and
taking over were my guitar short comings leave off that will not changed and
although Rogers has his own band brewing and doing quite well (Extra Virgin)
I would love to have his element in the studio and possibly on the road even
if it is for a short time. plus he put the lift kit on my last car.

11/01/01-- Due to some constant whining from my boyfriend I have decided to update this page a little. (See Kurt, I told you I'd do it one day!!!) Anyway, as you all probably know for awhile there Dave Krusen left Unified Theory and was replaced by Shinn's good pal and former band mate Paul Legaspi. Well, all is good and Krusen is back and all is quiet on the UT front. Which, as brought to my attention, typically means they're up to something. So woo hoo new album!!!..... I hope. Oh, and so you also should all know about Brad Smith's solo project Abandon Jalopy. The disk, Mercy, is amazing... a definite must for your Christmas list!!! Anyway, as soon as UT are back, this page will be back in full swing with all the new goodies. Till then, check out my poll to the left... Ok, nevermind that, it appears my poll isn't working at all right now, so I can't put up a new question. But soon my friends... soon.

08/30/01-- Well, the tour with Finger Eleven and Unified Theory (among others) was postponed. And now that F11 have announced their new dates, UT aren't on the bill anymore. So that sucks. I know this page hasn't been updated in awhile, but believe me I'm working on it. Life is crazy right now... but I'm sure I'll get the time to sit down and change everything around.

05/28/01-- An across Canada tour has been announced with Finger Eleven and the lovely boys in UT!!! Check out The Tour Page for dates!!!

02/27/01-- There's new pictures up Here!!! and a New Unified Theory Quiz!!! and a Trading Post for those of you looking to get/trade stuff!!!

01/20/01-- Ladies and gentlemen... I present to you a NEW POLL QUESTION located to your left!!! Please and thanks for your vote!!! AND Doom doom doom... drum roll please...... You can now get rare Unified Theory Mp3's from my Audio Page!!! Oh, and while you're at it take my kind of stupid Unified Theory Quiz!!!

01/16/01-- Wow, over one month since any up-dates.... sorry about that guys!!! I just added some New Pictures in the Live Section and the Fan Section. The new live pictures are in the Ashbury Park section, so check those out. Oh, and I added a couple more links to the Links Page. It's funny to see some of these other UT pages because they steal a lot of their stuff from my page!!! Hahahaha.... Anyway, thanks for visiting!!!

12/04/00-- And now thanks to Matt there are new pictures from last month's Atlanta Show in the Photo Gallery Also, more interviews and articles were added... so check those out while you're around Interviews & Articles

11/15/00-- Thanks to Jimi and Jessica there are new pictures (Live and Fan) up in the Photo Gallery I also added Tour Dates and Audio & Visual pages... so yah me!!!

11/09/00-- Thanks to Darlene there are new fan pictures up in the Photo Gallery

11/07/00-- This page got 1,000 hits!!!

10/08/00-- I've been scanning my ass off (not literally), so now some of my Unified Theory pictures are up in the Photo Gallery. There are some more live ones from the last Vancouver show plus a couple more pictures with the guys and their fans.

10/02/00-- Curious about what other Unified Theory fans are thinking? Then help me and them out by participating in the Unified Theory Poll. I'll be switching the question every month or so. So look down a bit and to the left... you should see the poll right there. As for the mp3's... I'm still trying to figure out an easy way to make them available to you. So check back often.

09/26/00-- I'm going to try and learn how to put mp3's up on my site... so those should hopefully be available to you real soon. I'll only put up rare stuff though... nothing from the album.

09/07/00-- If you've been to my page before this, then you may notice that I have now started to use fanicier headings for my pages. Other than that there's nothing new for today... Oh, except for the new layout on the Photo Gallery page as well as some new live photos!!!

09/06/00-- You can now find Unified Theory Album Reviews and Articles and even a Biography on my page!!! I told you I'd update it...

08/17/00-- I got the idea to make a Unified Theory page and went along with the idea. Nothing was really done, the page was just started.
