10 Nov. And then they turn it around. Excellent play calling and it was great seeing the old Kordell back in the lineup. Didn't really like the 20 unanswered points at the end of the game and whose bright idea was it to put Tomczak in the game? That was a botched call from the get-go.

2 Nov. That is exactly how NOT to play football. Pittsburgh should have never even trailed that lousy a team. To not even convert that on-sides kick at the beginning of the second half? Oh yee Black and Gold faithful, it is indeed a dark day in Pittsburgh.

27 Oct. Now that's the kind of smash-mouth football I like. Give it to the Bus and let him rumble. Need more from the air attack than just a measley 86 yds, but hey, at least five of those were for the winning TD. Now comes the serious tests. We have to stay with Jacksonville until we can smash them and finally sweep them in a season.

I hope the injury to Strelzyck isn't too bad and he will return to the line in a week or so. We can ill afford to lose one of the best linemen that we have.

19 Oct. It wasn't pretty but I'll take it. Kudoes all around guys. Now get serious and be prepared for the Chiefs this coming Monday Night.

13 Oct. We really could have used a Miami win last night. I had hopes, I thought it was going to happen but when Marino dropped that ball with 2:34 left in the fourth, then I knew we were going to be 2 games behind. Well we have to hope that Jacksonville's road trip is rife with disaster.

12 Oct. I was standing in the bar screaming at the TV at the top of my lungs that they were going to use that Miami trick play and they did. Okay, I've had time to reflect on the situation and I'm ready to say that there should no longer be the 'take a knee' or 'spike the ball' attitude by any team. Two teams in two years have taken advantage of the lack of pressure to score game winning TD's. I expect the defense to be stifling until the final whistle. If the QB drops and takes a knee, level him! If he spikes the ball, nail him! I was staring at the screen long after the game. I'm gonna go get plastered.
