I have been blessed enough to have some dreams and goals of mine become a reality, thanks to the support and encouragement of these people.
I want them to know how much I appreciate the impact they have had on my life and I hope that anyone who reads this will be as touched as I have by these special individuals.
They have been there to give encouragement and suggestions when I need it most. They praise and cheer all my successes, and help me laugh at and accept any of my failures.
My husband, Ray, is my best friend. He is extremely supportive, and makes me feel as if I can accomplish anything! I could never possibly list all of the things that he has done to help me realize my dreams, but I want him to know how much I love him and how much I appreciate the way that he has always believed in me.
My beautiful daughter, Shawnda, has also been a tremendous help to me. Like Ray, she has helped deliver and set up numerous wedding cakes, and has ran a lot of errands for me. She is very supportive and tends to drum up a fair amount of business for me.
I want her to know how much I love her and how much I appreciate all that she has done for me. Shawnda, you are truly a unique person, and I'm proud to be your Mom.
My handsome son, Aaron, is younger than Shawnda and hasn't ran errands for me. He has only helped set up a few wedding cakes. His biggest contribution to me has been to be my biggest fan! He always seems to be impressed with whatever I do, and loves to be my "taste-tester".
Aaron, your encouragement means so much to me. I also believe that you are a truly unique person, and I am so very proud of you!
My Mom (Judy) and Dad (Tom), have always been a source of love and support.
My Mom has a creative side, and she is a great person to "bounce ideas" off of. Between the two of us, we can usually come up with something great.
My Dad, unfortunately, passed away on December 10, 2000. However, until his death, he was wonderful at promoting business, delivering cakes, keeping me informed of cake supplies that were on sale, and like Aaron, he enjoyed being a "taste-tester". He had a major role in my daily activities, and he has left a void in my life and in my heart that can never be filled.
