The Ring is dead, long live the Ring!

I, Empeg, created the "MP3 CD Trading" webring a long time ago. I got the number of sites up to 200, and the webring system crashed. I then rebuild the ring almost from scratch, and got it up to almost 300 sites. However, as the workload grew, I grew tired of updating the ring. Actually, I lost interest in trading for some time, and was busy studying and doing all sorts of other stuff.

I felt that I had to find someone to continue updating the ring, as 300 people were members, and the interest in the ring was enormous. However, after some time trying to find a replacement, I gave up. And that's it really; I stopped updating the ring. Now there are 112 sites waiting to join, and I have 250 unanswered emails in my mailbox after deleting the spam...

However, now I find out that Rader1973 has started a ring called "Trade By Mail MP3" as an alternative, because my ring wasn't updated. I've had contact with him before, and he seems very capable of doing the job. He also seems dedicated in creating a quality ring.

So my recommendation to everyone is to join the Trade By Mail MP3 webring, and forget about the MP3 CD Trading webring. It has already got 135 member sites! Go here to join: The Trade By Mail MP3 webring

I'm very sorry for the extra work for all of you - and especially for the months where I didn't answer any email, or approve new sites. It must have been frustrating for all you people wanting to join this great trading community. I hope you can understand my situation, and forgive me.
