• greetings everyone. i hope you are enjoying the new record. it's been too long since we've had anything new come out. there are a couple of misprints in the record. one is in the lyrics "the absolute progress of a nothingday" if you look at the very last few lines, you'll notice that there is a line from "house left empty" in it. it doesn't go there, no big deal really. Also Ryan Tetzen (burned up bled dry/ from ashes arise) did some vocals on "the absolute progress of a nothingday" i just wanted to give him that credit. if you don't have it yet, you can order it from deadself records. email jarrod to deadself@hotmail.com

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I bet when the neanderthal kids would make a snowman, someone would always end up saying, "Don't forget the thick, heavy brows." Then they would all get embarrassed because they remembered they had the big hunky brows too, and they'd get mad and eat the snowman. 'by jack handy'

• Halo everyone. greetings from eso-charis. the record is never coming out it seems like. i have to say that Jarrod Norris is a very patient man. thank you Jarrod. the vocals aren't sounding right. so i think i'm going to take a new approach. i hope that all of you like it. it should be out before cornerstone, but i don't know. i really hope so.
• i've added a links page just for fun, i'll add more stuff later. PLEASE sign the guestbook we really want to hear what you have to say.
• if you haven't heard yet, we have broken up. go down to 3.9.99 for the details. i must say that i'm really going to miss this band, but anyway  Here's what's up with all the members.... matt and arthur are currently room mates, and along with their wives, their dog (maggie) their cat (sylvia) and their goldfish (killer.) they're just a big happy family. Jayson is full time lovelorn now ( that's Jaysons side project band.) they just finished recording and it sounds good. check them out. they will be playing a song before us at cornerstone. i (cory) am just being a dad and taken it easy. • good day YALL! the show here in the fort was a success. we played with burned up bled dry. they are an incredible grind core band, completely nuts. definitely one of my favorite bands. check them out if you can. now there is only one left... cornerstone. Matt Depper has decided to play with us. if you don't already know, he was our first guitar player. he played only one show with us.... our first. and with a little effort we got him to play our last. so i won't be playing guitar, just singing. we are very excited about it. so go to cornerstone.
• we are also writing one more song, we will probably record it too. but we won't be playing it, except at the fest. there will be more updates......................thanks.

• well here it is... it's still not done yet... but here it is. hope you have fun looking through it.
• the new release date for the record is in late April. you had to expect a new release date, no indie band ever releases anything on time.
• well here we go... I didn't want to have to say this anytime soon, but you may have heard that we have broken up... thus is true. just to let you in on the whole deal. Matt has decided to quit for a very good reason. and we do not wish to locate a new drummer. I feel like we have done what we came to do, and there is no sense in milking it any longer. we have written good music, filled with passion and fun. we have been places and had offers we never thought we would ever in a hundred years be and have. just to clear things up there is no turmoil in the band and we are not fighting. sure every band has it's little ups and downs, but ours were nothing that were not easily resolved. Jesus has brought us through tougher times than this will ever be. and He has taken us through a lot. Thanks to all of you who have believed in this weird little band from Arkansas, and God bless you...

• Halo everyone, we are back from our European tour. The tour went really well. Blindside has gotten MUCH better, and they are great friends and tour buddies. They are recording now. Thanks a lot to all those guys and all the Day-Glo people (Bo, Thomas, Patrik, Andreas, Markus, and a big thanks to Jakob for putting up with us.)
• Speaking of recording, we start recording this month. !The Metal Is Off It's Rocker! (ya like that Jarrod?)
• We will be taking a long needed break now. until July (so far) when we will have one show at cornerstone. after that who knows and who cares.
• I am almost done with reconstruction of this page, I will have lots of new pics, and an ordering page. love ya.

• Happy new year! we will be playing a show on the 16th in little rock, this will be our last show for while. so come to this show!!
• The seven inch record is set to be released on march 1st, we are very exited about this release, it will be a step up for sure. thanks to all of you who have believed in this weird little band from Arkansas.

• Our CD has been released  in Europe.   we will tour there in January and February with Blindside. also we are recording in February for a seven inch record to be released on Deadself Recordings. there will be two new songs on it. we are also repressing and redoing the art work on our full length CD. dig?
• Jaysons side band Lovelorn is almost done recording. I heard it, and it sounds good. if you like emo-screamo you should check them out. I will have ordering info for you when it is unleashed. ahhhhhhh!!!! hope I didn't forget anything.

•   The compilation from deadself records is now going to be released on the 1st of October. Get It, somehow. Jarrod has spent quite a while on it. it will be a very nice CD. email Jarrod for it at deadself@hotmail.com Also kris from embodyment helped on the artwork so it should look really nice.

• Our CD is being leased to Day-glo records in Stockholm, Sweden. it will be released by them in all of Europe soon.  They have also offered to fly us over there and tour for a while. we'll have those dates for you a.s.a.p.
• we will be on tour with Embodyment in October. go to the shows page for the dates.
• Deadself records is releasing a comp on September 15th. some of the bands include overcome  (unreleased song) pensive, seasons in the field, eso charis, spitfire, through and through, disciple, within, society's finest and a whole bunch more........so go to the deadself records page and order it.
