DustCloud

Greetings, salutations and good day. DustCloud here, formerly known as (in no particular order) New4-99, Catastrofee, Fan, and the infamous "Lakefan" in all of its forms. I love dirt track racing, a recent obsession of mine, hence the name. Nothing like getting down and dirty, right? Currently I'm playing construction artist, or architect maybe, as I attempt to build an impressive racin' resume. But more on that later. Now, let 'em race!

Ward Burton

is my current favorite NASCAR driver. He's the stoical and sometimes comical (though more often just unintelligable) driver of the #22 Catapillar sponsored Bill Davis Racing Pontiac. *deep breath* Whew, how do they DO it week after week? Ward's currently one of the best drivers out there, and his time is coming. I think the addition of Dave Blaney (former World of Outlaws star!) to the WC stall will make them so much better too!!

Looking at the Busch Series? Then look for Kevin Grubb, one of the young guns of the series who gets little air time but has had some awesome (sorry Mark) runs. He, though, seems to be marred by bad luck in all its many forms. That car is a disaster magnet! Still, he usually finishes ahead of the #45, and that's all I ask.

As for me, DustCloud is actually Jess, a 19 year old junior at St. Bonaventure University. I'm a double major in Journalism/Mass Communications and English, trying for the Honors option on both. That keeps me busy enough, but I actually do other stuff than study!

First, I play on the Web. I am the assistant editor of the BVO, our school's online newspaper. I also write for different web pages and do work on the garage here. In addition to that, I sing in the school choir, in the select Chamber Singers, and as part of a new, all-girl a capella group named Vocallusion.

In prior years I've danced as part of the dance group Legacy, done plays and musicals and joined the college bowl team. This year, I dropped all these to adopt the daunting task of ressurecting the university pep band.

Welcome to my world!

heh heh heh... In case anyone reading this wonders about that experience I mentioned above, here's a breif list of my work:

So if anyone needs a PR person or writer, I'm available, in, well, two years ;) Be warned, I WILL be looking.
