Genesis 1:27-28: “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.....”
Gensis 2:22-24: “Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for she was taken out of man.’ For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.”
Genesis 19:4-5:This reference is used to prove that the sin of Sodom was sex. Some homosexual defenders claim that Sodom’s sin was not sex, in order to prove that sodomy is not sin. “Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom - both young and old - surrounded the house. They called to Lot, ‘Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
Leviticus 18:22:“Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”
Numbers 14:18: “The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished; He punishes the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.”
Deuteronomy 6:24: “The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.”
Psalm 37:4:“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Psalm 51:5:“Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”
Psalm 51:10: “Create in my a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Psalm 53:3:“Everyone has turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.”
Psalm 112:1-3: “Praise the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in His house, and His righteousness endures forever.”
Proverbs. 12:18: “Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”
Isaiah 43:25: “I [God], even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My Own Sake, and remembers your sins no more.”
Matthew 5:17: “Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
Matthew 7:1: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 11:28:“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 18:21-22: “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you , not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
Matthew 22:37-40: “Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:’Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Mark 2:17: “...Jesus said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Luke 6:37: “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”
John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
John 8:36: “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
John 14:15: “If you love Me you will obey what I command.”.
John 14:23: “Jesus replied, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”

Romans 1:24-27: “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator - who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and receive in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”
Romans 3:28: “For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.”
Romans 5:1-5: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who He has given us.
Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 7:14 -25: "We know that the law is spiriutal; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is , in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do - this I keep doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God - through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Romans 8:37-39: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of ‘ God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 12:2-3: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 15:1-2: “We who are strong ought to bear with the failing of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
1 Corinthians. 5:11: “But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.” This passage speaks to the rebellious not the contrite.
1 Corinthians. 6:9-11: “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” Again, this passage speaks to the rebellious sinner, not the contrite sinner.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20: “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”
1 Corinthians 7:2: “But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.” A new testament command for only men and women to marry.
1 Corinthians 10:14: "Therefore my dear friends, flee from idolatry."
2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ, sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, than I am strong.”
Galatians 3:24:“So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.”
Galatians. 6:1: “Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.”
Ephesians 2:8-10: “For by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 4:15: “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him Who is the Head, that is, Christ.”
Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Philippians 4:8-9: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Philippians 4:19:“And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
Thessalonians. 5:21-22: “Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.”
1 Timothy. 2:4: “[God] Who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee the desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
Hebrews 4:15: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin.”
Hebrews 5:2“He [Jesus] is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.”
James 1:12: "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receaie the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him."
James 2:17: "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
James 4:7-8: “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you.”
James 5:15-16: “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
James 5:19-20: "My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”
I John 1:9:“If we confess ours sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”.
1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His a wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but not you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
Jude 7: “In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”
