Table of Accrued Delist Values with Price Ratios

Player Stocks and Commodities
At the end of the season, player stocks delist at a formula value based upon 1998 statistical output.

For hitters, the formula is:

  • $0.75 for each home run, plus
  • $0.75 for each stolen base, plus
  • $0.30 for each run batted in, plus
  • $0.10 for each hit.
For pitchers, the delist formula is:
  • $1.50 for each win, plus
  • $1.60 for each save, plus
  • $0.10 for each strikeout, plus
  • $9.50 for each shutout.

The current delist value is based upon a player's stats to-date. Delist values for pitchers include their hitting stats.

The current price is the opening price as reported on the MLM stock listing page for that day.

The ratio of delist/price is one relative measure of the richness or cheapness of each stock. The higher the ratio, the cheaper the stock is - on this measurement basis. There are other reasonable bases upon which to make relative value judgments, but this is one of the easiest to understand.

The 5-day volume shows the total volume traded for each stock over the past five days.

Team Stocks
Winning percentage is based on each team's full season record-to-date.

30 day Dividends represent the dividends which would be received for one share of stock if the team maintains the same winning percentage over the next 30 games. (Note: projected wins are not rounded to integers.)

Yield is the 30 day dividend divided by the price.

The 5-day volume shows the total volume traded for each stock over the past five days.
