Tri-State Trail & Tree Dog Association has approximately 400 members in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and many other states in the US. Meetings are held the FIRST Saturday of every month (7:00 p.m. EST) behind the Turtletown Elementary School during a break at the field trials. (Located 5 miles north of Ducktown on Highway 68 in Turtletown, TN) Follow signs from Turtletown School. Field trials are held the FIRST Saturday every month throughout the year. Events included are hog bays, coon bays, puppy bays and the popular kid's pig catching contest. Registration is from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. COON EVENTS

Field Trial Begins at 9:00 a.m. Registration closes promptly at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees for the hog events is $5.00; all coon events registration is $3.00, and the kid pig catching contest registration is $3.00. A yearly trophy will be awarded in the field trials events and to the member who harvests the largest wild boar or bear. ![]() Tri-State Trail & Tree Dog Association is also proactive in the community on many levels. Deserving families suffering illness, incapacitating accidents, etc. and who can't work are often assisted financially or with food donations. Special projects are also funded to help the community and out-of-state members. Tri-State is in the process of "adopting" two elementary schools located in Coker Creekand Turtletown, TN. Funds will be made available to these schools to help buy books, supplies, and playground equipment for the children. Tri-State, with the assistance of the Tennessee Forestry Department plants fruit trees and distributes feed and seed for the area's wildlife. ![]() Dues for membership in Tri-State Trail & Tree Dog Association are $10/year/member.
