I was going through a book of poems the other day and came upon this one. It brought so much emotion and the need to build a page to honor my mother.
The music you are listening to is "Unforgettable". My mother used to love to sit and listen to Nat King Cole sing this song.
And now, I think, in some far heavenly place,
She watches still, and yet is not distressed,
But rather as one who, after life's long race,
Has found contentment in a well-earned rest,
There, in a peaceful dreamlike reverie,
She waits, from earthly cares forever free.
