Found dead in a Los Angeles motel of a reputed drug overdose, Jan. 10, 2008. He was 40.
FYI:
Best known as two-time Olympian (1988, 1992) and two-time U.S. men's figure-skating champ (1989, 1992).
Fairly well-known for being longtime figure-skating screwup -- talented, but troubled.
Arrested October 27, 2004, for allegedly aiming a loaded gun at a woman in Lake Orion, Michigan, where he lives and works as a coach.
As a child actor, appeared on Little House on the Prairie (1979).
