Anthony Michael Hall (b. 1968)
Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Weird Science.
Cofounded music site, 80central.com, with Apple's Steve Wozniak. (Hall played Apple rival Bill Gates in 1999's Pirates of the Silicon Valley.)
Played with band Hall of Mirrors.
Will Smith balked at kissing him in 1993's Six Degrees of Separation.
Was neither cast, nor fired, as rumored, from Stanley Kubrick's 1987 war movie, Full Metal Jacket. As Hall told UGO.com, he was in talks for what became the Matthew Modine role, but never closed the deal due to financial reasons.
Joined Saturday Night Live in 1985 when he was 17, becoming the late-night show's youngest-ever cast member, and one of its least memorable.

Staying Abreast of the Issues
"The time was circa 1992. I was 25, living in West Hollywood. My friends and I used to hang out at the Hollywood Athletic Club on Sunset. One night while using the payphone which was located just outside the restrooms, Anthony Michael Hall came out of the menís room, looked over at me and yelled, 'Hey, nice [tatas]!!' While I was still on the phone, he proceeded to tell me he was staying at Le Mondrian Hotel, and would love for me to come back to his room with him. Of course, I told him where to go, and he angrily stormed away. His face still creeps me out!" (Posted: January 2005)
Snap Judgments Can Be Fun!
"About two years ago, I walked past one-time cute and cuddly, now rat-bastard ex-star, that kid [Anthony Michael Hall] from Sixteen Candles. And, boy, was he chubby! I think he lives near me. ... He was with his mom and neither looked very friendly." (Posted: March 1997)
