His death, along with those of Rusty Hamer and Trent Lehman, inspired Paul Petersen to found the child-actor advocacy group, A Minor Consideration, in 1991.
Ran with the Grateful Dead in the 1970s. Engineered two albums for Bob Weir's side band, Kingfish.
