Found hanged on a schoolyard chain-link fence on January 18, 1982. He was 20.
FYI:
Despondent over broken romance at time of suicide, reports said.
Killed himself at Arleta, California's Vena Avenue Elementary, the school he attended during his Nanny run.
His death, along with those of Rusty Hamer and Tim Hovey, inspired Paul Petersen to found the child-actor advocacy group, A Minor Consideration, in 1991.
