Welcome to the forum, Sue. Those were some good thoughts. I never considered why evil immortals don't turn good after killing a good immortal (a "Light Quickening, I guess you'd call it). Perhaps they do. Who knows how many of the good immortals Duncan befriended were evil at some point in the past.
