Does a demon need to be cast out, for a person to be healed?

We see in the New Testament, that sometimes a demon needs to be cast out so that a person may be healed! Cf.Matthew 8:16  When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

Which after doing, the person is healed. Cf.  Matthew 9:32  As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.

Matthew 9:33  And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "It was never seen like this in Israel!"

  Luke 11:14 ¶ And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled. [Please note, that it was "when the demon had gone out" that the mute spoke!].

  

However, not all people who are sick are demon-possessed!

Cf. Mark 6:13  And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.  [Please note it says: "cast out many demons…and healed"!].

 

Remember, all demons should be cast out in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Cf. Luke 10:17 ¶ Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."
