You are looking at verbanum opulus, a.k.a. the snowball bush. This particular bush was planted on the south side of St. Louis, Missouri in 1904 for the Worlds Fair. 18 years ago it was moved from it's plot to a residence located in the ozarks on the bank of a dry creek bed. It has flourished and now stands approximatly 12 feet high and 14 feet across. Wow!
