HELP PRESERVE AN MRS1

Hi and welcome to the unofficial EMD homepage. The purpose of this space will be to catalog the locomotives built by EMD. As you can imagine, this is a monumental task. Any assistance in identifying various phases of locomotives, of info about serial and order numbers would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at protowatchdog@hotmail.com

All links are in red. On any page clicking on the EMD logo will return you here. Clicking on the railroad herald will take you to a roster of EMDs built new for that railroad, where available. Not all railroad rosters are posted yet. Clicking on a red unit number will take you to a photo of that unit.

This site is currently being migrated to: http://www.trainweb.org/emdloco so if links don't work here, try that url. Migrating a site is not a decision to be taken lightly, especially when there are 1900 files affected. But due to continued meddling by Tripod, I am moving files as i get time. Three years ago, they changed the url of this site, disabling many links. I had just cleared up the mess they caused here, now they cut my disc space without warning. Let this be a warning to all: DO NOT LET TRIPOD HOST YOUR WEB PAGE. And don"T patronize the merchants whose ads appear here......
