I am a native born Vermonter, but have lived the greater
part of my life in New York State. I was probably 6 or 7 yrs.
old when my mother returned to NY. I am now in my 80's and I
guess you could call me a New Yorker. I can be reached at:

My line of FULLERS goes back to the United Kingdom, and as
many did, they came to America by several routes. My great
grandfather was a seaman with full Merchant papers, and
worked with fishing boats in and around Nova Scotia, Belle Isle
and Newfoundland..My line of FULLERS migrated to Maine,
New Hampshire, Vermont and Mass. Mostly the New England states.
My gr-gr-grandfather was Edward M. Fuller, his wife was Mary
but I don't have her maiden name.
Edward was b. about 1805 Edward and Mary were living in Avonport,
Kings county, Nova Scotia when William,Amos and Celia were born.
Edward's age est. from 1871 census which lists him as 66
living with son Amos in lower Horton, Nova Scotia.
My gr. grandfather was William Henry Fuller b.1840
and lived in Avonport, Kings county Nova Scotia.
He later moved to Portland, Maine, and Gilman VT.
He died in Dalton,NH across the river from Gilman VT.
Mar.18th,1913.
New Information on William Henry Fuller 7/11/1999*
He was married three* times. His first marriage on 11 Nov
1866 was to Jane McAlmon of Londerry, Colchester county, Nova Scotia.
From that marriage he had Robert, born circa 1867 and Albert A. b.
11 Feb 1872, and his second wife was Matilda (BEST) McAloney.
(Previously married to Robert McAloney). Wm & Matilda m. on 8 Jan
1880.
He was a widower, a mariner, age 40, when he
married Matilda, and she was a widow at the time she was 33.
They were married in the Baptist church, Wolfville, Kings
co. NS. William also married a Grace Munroe on 21 Nov 1893.
No children from 3rd marriage.
(My earlier info was the son was Robert..in a letter received
2/25/99 from an Aunt in California, I was informed the name was Frank
not Robert. Aunt Evelyn said she remembered meeting a FRANK Jr.
when she was quite young.(That's still unconfirmed).
By Matilda* he had, Harry Elmer Fuller (my grandfather) Harry
was born 1881 and died 1955 in Gilman, VT. This new information
on 6/9/99 is from PANS (Public Archives of Nova Scotia, Kings co.
1880, page 130 No 2.
*I say Matilda was the mother of Harry since he
was born a year after she married Wm. In this new info
William's parents are listed as Edward and Mary Fuller.
I do not have any other info on them at this time, except they also
had Amos Fuller circa 1846 and Celia circa 1849.
Matilda Best had previously been married to Robert McAloney
on 24 March 1863. She was born in Horton, Kings county NS
and living in Wolfville, when she married William .
Matilda's parents were listed as John and Rebecca, I have no other
information on them. Unconfirmed children from McAloney
marriage were William, Walter, and Robert. They were living
with Wm Henry and Matilda in 1881 census of Horton, Kings co. NS.
Maybe we can connect with other FULLERS. Here are the names of the
FULLERS that I have, right down to my Great grandchildren.
Edward M. Fuller b. c 1805 as noted earlier in 1871 census he was
living with one of his sons, Amos in Lower Horton, Nova Scotia.
William Henry Fuller b. 1840 in Avonport, Nova Scotia d. Mar.
18 1913 in Dalton NH
NEW INFORMATION ADDED 6/17/1999.
I have just learned (6/17/99) in a letter from my Aunt Ev.that
Lucy Andrews was the mother of Frank Fuller (JR.). She also writes
that there was another brother that she knows nothing about. This
unknown brother married Lucy. It may have been Frank Sr.?? Maybe
a brother of Wm. From a new photo I'm adding to page two..I would
guess that Lucy was older than my grandmother Caroline,thus putting
Lucy and Frank SR(??) into Wm's generaton, and the possibility Frank
SR(?)was a brother of William Henry Fuller.

m. May Louise Perham.* Albert was from Wm. & Jane McAlmon.
May (Perham) Fuller was b. 1881, the same age as grandfather Harry
Fuller.
.Harry Elmer Fuller b. 1881 d. 1955 m. Caroline Perham** in 1901.
**Caroline Perham was one of many Perhams..who were connected
to the Fullers with the marriage of May Louise Perham to
Albert A. Fuller, and the marriage of Caroline to Harry
Elmer Fuller..Caroline & May Louise were just 2 of the many
children of Robert Marshall Perham and Frances Frazier
(also spelled Frasier)Frances immigrated from Scotland.
many of the earlier Perhams lived in New Foundland, with
some later going to Halifax Nova Scotia. Robert Marshall
Perham was my gr grandfather from that side of the family..
