Brian Wilson Concert--January 30, 2004

Brian Wilson
Shaw Conference Centre, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
January 30, 2004

This show was originally pre-hyped to be the first Smile show, but turned out to be a non-Smile show; the first Smile show would not premiere until February 20.

The contributor writes: "The setlist notes a few songs that were to be played but did not make it. They were Little Girl, This Whole World and You're So Good To Me. This gig was originally announced as a Smile dress rehearsal but that plan was changed in favour of a hits show to appease the demographic. Despite being a formal black tie corporate gig (the band flew in and out quite quickly - There was only a blind sound check - meaning they weren't even in the city for the sound check so roadies did it), by the end of the first song EVERYONE was on their feet and dancing."
