Having personally attended this show, I think it should be noted that the band has made some improvements in the show...Adrian Baker's voice does not stick out like a sore thumb like it used to (maybe it depends on the venue), Bruce attempts to sing "God Only Knows" like Carl did, instead of singing "God only knows what I'd be withoutcha" in the manner he did at many concerts a year ago. Also, "Come Go With Me" and "Surfin" are superior substitutes for "Sherry" and "Surf City", respectively. The Turtles were the opening act for this show, which was attended by a relatively small crowd of about 1000 in a dirt field. Mike seemed into it, and interacted with individuals in the crowd a lot, including myself. Bruce paid attention to just the teenage girls. Adrian really seemed like he didn't care what was going on around him, and paid no attention to the crowd. There was a time when he was actually frowning during one of Mike's comedy routines. Chris seemed a little less stiff than the previous year, and Phil seemed to be enjoying himself. It seemed to me that "I Can Hear Music" was added for the main purpose of showcasing Phil's voice. Meanwhile, Adrian was less highlighted than during the previous year.
It should also be noted that "Come Go With Me" is sung more in the style of the original by the Dell-Vikings, rather than the 1978 Beach Boys version. Another note: Apparently Mike was not ready to sing when "Fun Fun Fun" started and the band went through an entire verse with no vocals before Mike decided to start.
