We have no photos yet, we will add them as soon as we receive them.
For now we will let Joanna Crell talk about her foal:
Our foal Xen is most beautiful, he is
enormous and will obviously be quite tall. He is turning into one of the
most elegant creatures you've ever seen and anyone who sees him is quite
taken. He is now a very dark bay almost black with just the hint of dapples
on his butt, and his only white being his "island" and the tiniest snip on
the lip. He still gallops everywhere even short distances, and plays
constantly with whoever will put up with him... He is incredibly sweet and well mannered, god bless imprinting
and handling... We need to lead him away from Xaz(the damn) more, she is fiercely aware and loving of
him... Xen has the benifit of being raised by the queen to be the little prince and he fits
the role, regally, 'cept sometimes its lonely at the top! We haven't yet
made a plan for weanining or even boohoo, gelding, but suppose we will at
some point do them both, with some time in between... it will be a pleasure to watch this one grow. I really feel he is
destined to become a remarkable horse, I will drive him as soon as he is
ready as I feel this will help him develop safely and still be fun for him.
I will probably do whatever it takes to work with Larry Poulin on this, he
has been a friend and is my ideal in horse training. Larry has a world
class team of Holsteiners, and Xen looks like he could be right up there
someday. He is so smart and sweet to boot, a testimony to his breeding I'm
sure... My instincts told me to go with Kaschmir even though I really wanted to have a
registerable Trakehner because I loved his lines, horses like Mahogani,
Donafuerst and Donauwind, are amazing. I hope all that spirit and ability
passes on to Xen, he has a wonderful future ahead...
Yours,
Joanna
