Richmond Civil War Round Table

The RCWRT meets every 2nd Tuesday except November at 8pm
in the Boulevard United Methodist Church basement
(321 N. Boulevard, Richmond,VA) At each meeting a speaker, usually a Civil War
author or researcher gives a presentation about the American Civil War.
The location of the November dinner/meeting changes year to year.

Our purpose is to discuss the events, customs, military actions and other
activities pertaining to the War Between the States (1861-1865);
to encourage and stimulate interest in the objectives of all agencies
interested in the preservation and protection of the landmarks, earthworks,
relics, and collections of data pertinent to the above period for use
by the general public.

During our April meeting each year General R.E.Lee's General Orders No.9
is read by Mr. Hobson Goddin in keeping with the end of the war in April
(of 1865.)
