After the (In)Famous "School" Production of LOHENRIN - March 18, 1999
At the stage door, posing with the great soprano Eva Marton - she gave a powerful performance as Ortrud, completely in 'sync' with the very unique demands of this one-of-a-kind production. I had previously seen Miss Marton's Ortrud, in a much more "traditional" production at the Met in 1984, opposite Tomowa-Sintow and Domingo.
