Speculation is growing that Phil wallace is about to take over at Stevenage Borough.

Wood chairman Phil Wallace intends to leave Meadow park as soon as a buyer can be found for his shares in the club. It is believed poor support being one of the main reasons for his decision.

Phil will be greatly missed at Meadow Park, and is widely believed to have been one of, if not, the best chairman in Boreham wood’s history.

President of Boreham Wood Bill O'Neill is being made a Life Member of the Hertfordshire Football Association. The award, to be made at this summer's Annual General Meeting, is in recognition of his service and work for the Association.

Gary Nisbet has announced his retirement due persistent injuries. Gary who signed for the Wood in the summer of 1994 played 234 matches scoring 38 goals.

Bruce Sewell has left Boreham Wood and joined Gravesend & Northfleet.

Mark Brown has been watched by Southend United of the Nationwide League Third Division. Mark has been a regular target of the scouts. Last season he was watched by Nottingham Forest.

Wood chairman, Phil Wallace, has warned that he is not happy with the crowd attendance at Meadow Park, and if there is not an improvement in the near future he will be forced to reconsider his commitment to the club.

Shaun Marshall's injury is worse then first thought. It now looks like he will be out for the season with knee ligament damage.
