Originally this eagle belonged to a set of belt mounts. Found in the first cemetery
of Karos, one of the richest archaeological sites in Hungary. This silver eagle is
considered as an outstanding proof of the richness of the grave.
Gesta made virtually no alterations except for not applying a little tag, which was
important to fix the eagle on the belt but, was unnessesary to add to a jewelry piece.
Additional loop at the top. Sterling Silver, 0.925 fine.
Size: 5/8 inch /17 mm
Price: US$18
