Back To Buisness

It's about time. Going into the game on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, the defense of the
San Fransisco 49ers was ranked 30. One year ago, they were ranked number 1. This year they
were the worst in the NFL. That was until they left held the Saints to zero points. "We have the best
30th-ranked defense you've ever seen in your life," said LB Winfred Tubbs. They gathered a total of
seven sacks, three by DE Chris Dolman. Young threw two touchdown passes and Wade Richey
kicked two field goals to give the 49ers a 21-0 lead going into halftime. Add another TD by young
and another fieldgoal by Richey and you get the final score of 31-0. Young ended up completing
21-40 passes for 309 yards, marking the fifth game in a row he has thrown over 300 yards. That
ties the record set by Joe Montana. He also become only the 20th QB in league history to throw for
over 30,000 yards. All of this on his 37th birthday. GO NINERS!
