you probably love to surf as much as I do. SoCal all the way, baby! Look me up if you're
ever in the Santa Barbara area or just drop by Rincon. But while you're here, just browse
around my pages and check out all the cool pictures that I lifted from other sites.(thanks

in your way at Rincon a while ago Kelly!

Anyway, for all of you girls out there that want to learn how to
surf, I have a little advice.
		(1) Don't go out an buy a nice board to learn on.
Try and borrow one or find a cheap used one first
(a longboard is easier and more stable to start with)
		(2) DON'T get to your knees first! It's a bad habit that will
stick with you if you do it. Try jumping straight to your
feet a couple of times on the beach before you even get
			in the water.
		(3) Be polite to the more advanced surfers already out. Try
to stay out of their way if possible.
(you'll understand this more when you are in their position)
		(4) The wave always belongs to the person in a better position.
(Closer to where the wave is begining to break {the white water})
		(5) Just go for it! And stick with it for a couple of sessions.
			It gets better, believe me!

(You should also go check out a site called The Beach Hut! It's a cool place and I "borrowed"
a couple of pictures. The address (i think) is members.spree.com/beachhut/ I have the address
on my guestbook. You can link from there. Check it out.)
