MiNOR THREAT

Minor Threat was a straight-edge hardcore band from wahington, dc that formed in November of 1980. Fronted by vocalist Ian MacKaye, the straight-edge movement came into play. Although MacKaye had no intentions of starting a movement, he changed the lives of many people, and encouraged many to become straight edge. Straight edge is not a term at all. It is a way of life, and along with the help of Minor Threat, many people saw this. Minor Threat was and still is a great band with excellent points.
