Susanne stood in the shadows. She saw how upset Meredith was, and fought back the instinct to comfort her. She had purposely led her friend on, away from where she knew the others were. The two of them would be safer this way. A scream echoed across the place and caught Susanne's attention. It seemed to catch Kristsi's and Meredith's attention, too, but they didn't look to be in any hurry to investigate. Susanne melted back into the shadows and made her way through the sea of people.

*Oh shit, two Cellys... dammit, I should have thought of this!* Naturally... why wouldn't Celly have gone to this? It was a little over a year ago, just before the Game had started... the Game...

Susanne whipped out her laptop computer and impatiently waited for it to boot up.

Nyx was in trouble. Anyone facing two Cellys would be. And Mercy and Remy had to be nearby, it was only common sense--

It hit her.

The Game had started.

Susanne felt each and every Otaku, and she felt horribly exposed, knowing that they, too, could feel her.

Two more keystrokes, and the scenery began fading away. Susanne sighed with releif.

It had been mercifully brief. With any luck, the other Otaku had been so overwhelmed, they hadn't even noticed her. Maybe. She'd find out soon enough, she supposed. She checked her computer, making sure that she had only brought one Celly -- she didn't much care which one, of course -- and nodded to herself. Everyone was fairly scattered, but most of them wouldn't have a problem finding each other. There, Kristsi and Meredith had found each other. Mercy and Remy were on a collision course with Celly. Nyx--

"Susanne! Now when the hell are we?"

"What, it doesn't look familiar? O ancient immortal?"

"Is this..."

"Forgive me, history isn't my best subject... isn't that Camelot on that hill over there?"
