Remy let out an exasperated sigh. The long walk did nothing to relieve her anxieties about her current situation. If anything, the whole experience totally obliterated all the rose tinted ideas she had once had about Bishounen. They were... flawed; some more than others... one in particular...

*Re-chan,*

Speak of the devil...

*Can we-* Sano began before Remy cut through his thoughts sharply.

*No*

*But I-*

*I know what you saw Sano. The answer's still no. Besides, I don't think these people play for paper money and that's all I've got.* It was a realistic excuse, one Remy prided herself on making... but if truth be told, she wouldn't have given Sano money even if she did have viable currency. She knew everything about him... okay, not everything, but enough to know that she'd lose before she won and only an idiot would play against those odds.

*I resent that.*

Whoops. Did she say that out loud?

*Nope*

Damn. She forgot. They could hear her thoughts too. Kuso! KUUUSHOOOUU!!

*You know, for a little person, you sure do cuss a lot*

Only recently...

*Can we eat instead?* Sano prompted and immediately began inquiring about the hunger of the other two bishounen. *Aoshi, Mikagami... anata-tachi, you're hungry too, ne?*

*You know, for someone without a stomach, you sure do eat a lot* Aoshi replied, mocking Sano's earlier statement about Remy.

Sano took it all in stride. Namely, he ignored him. *Mikagami?* His thoughts turned to the other bishounen. If he could tip the scales to two on two instead of three on one, he might have a chance to at least get something... a crust of bread... uncooked rice... anything edible!

*Mikagami?* Sano questioned again at the lack of response from the said bishounen. Maybe the other bishounen didn't hear him. Or maybe... no, that couldn't be it. But the smirk he felt forming in the back of the shared mind told otherwise. Shimatta, he couldn't have been serious, could he?

*Why don't you find out?* came the dry reply.

*Mikagami...-sa...ma... * Sano thought grudgingly.

*Hai*

Sano cursed... loudly... well, as loud as a person can curse without a mouth. Damn that Mikagami!

*Mikagami-sama* Remy corrected his thoughts. Her laugher was so strong that it was almost palpable, which only caused Sano to curse louder and longer, which in turn made Remy laugh louder and longer.

After five minutes of continous bleap after bleap after bleap, Sano slowly began to calm himself down. Sure, she might be laughing now; they might all be laughing now, but he'd get them back. He'd give them all exactly what they deserved.

*Sure you will.* Remy agreed sarcastically, starting up another healthy banter. But, to her disappointment, he didn't take the bait. He merely scoffed and stopped thinking all together. She couldn't read what he didn't think... and he wanted the upper hand in this. He just had to wait... wait for the right time... thank Kami-sama he didn't have to wait for very long.

Yes, revenge was sweet... very sweet. And Remy hadn't a clue... not yet, anyway. But she would, soon... very soon.
